Who Are We? 

Welcome to McCorkle Detailing, your go-to place for quality car care and exceptional service. I’m Chris McCorkle, the founder, and my journey began back in my freshman year of high school in 2018. Growing up around car shows, I was always inspired by the clean, beautiful cars on display, dreaming that one day, I’d have one of my own.

However, I took a different path and went the truck route instead. At 15, I got my first truck—an old, 20-year-old rust bucket to most people—but I was determined to keep it spotless. That fall, at the James Dean Festival in Fairmount, IN, I discovered the products that would help turn my passion into success, and the rest is history.

Starting the Grind

After purchasing Jax Wax Car Care Products, I started washing and waxing my truck every Sunday, keeping it spotless despite teasing from classmates. This passion led me to start detailing other vehicles, beginning with my grandpa’s truck in 2019. My mom’s Facebook post showcasing my work gained attention, and after my second client shared their results, business took off. I spent school evenings, weekends, and breaks growing my dream, which has since evolved into establishing McCorkle's Jax Wax.

Initially serving the commercial industry and Ohio dealerships, they expanded to retail in 2006, gaining nationwide recognition through distributors at car shows. Today, with over 20 store and distributor locations, they sell to 13 countries, proudly upholding their mission to be "The Home of REAL Car Care."
